Founded in 1989, Simpang Empat Bak Kut Teh is a popular eatery where everyone enjoys the signature or traditional bak kut teh. Situated in an airy shophouse, its bak kut teh is of Teochew origin.
With the only other branch located at Tanjong Balai, foodies can savour the Batam version of this comfort food, well-loved in both Malaysia and Singapore.
Bak Kut Teh Goreng. Served with a bowl of soup, the “dry Bak Kut Teh” is a mix of braised pork and innards in black pepper sauce.
